BOYS' CROSS COUNTRY

Coe-Brown seventh, MV 12th


Branden Roy's led Coe-Brown with a 15th-place finish as the Bears ended up with 206 pointst to finish seventh out of 19 teams. Con-Val earned the win with 47 points, and Oyster River was second with 63. Also competing were Bow (ninth), Kearsarge (11th), Merrimack Valley (12th), Laconia (16th) and Bishop Brady (18th).

Finishing behind Roy were Chris Chagnon (22nd), Patrick Hodgdon (52nd), Brendan McCann (54th) and Michael Burns (63rd). Brendan Bly (16th) led Bow, and was followed by Andrew Bolduc (59th), William Mitchell (60th), Dylan Lucas (68th) and Stephen Bourque (74th).

Merrimack Valley was led by Marshall Talley (21st) and Logan Nieder (69th), and Laconia was led by Anthony Staples (40th) and Colin McGuire (58th). John Edmunds (47th) and Miles Amaral (51st) led Kearsarge, and Daniel Tothill (66th) and Aaron Perreault (75th) led Brady.

GIRLS' CROSS-COUNTRY

Kearsarge second, MV eighth


Four top-20 finishes helped Kearsarge finish second with 114 points. Hanover won the event easily with 43 points, and Souhegan was third with 126 points. Also competing were Coe-Brown (seventh), Merrimack Valley (eighth), Bow (10th), Bishop Brady (17th) and Laconia (19th).

Jess Newkirk led Kearsarge, coming in 14th, and was followed by Caroline Forgiel (16th), Hester Mazi (19th), Jillian Corley (20th) and Brittany Menning (45th).

MV was led by Katie Chwasciak (fourth) and Timianne Dent (24th), while Coe-Brown was led by Antoinette Raffaele and Danielle Detrude, who finished 27th and 28th, respectively. Bow was led by Elodie Reed (36th) and Brittany Verville (41st), Bishop Brady was led by Amanda Kievit (43rd) and Caroline Leeming (99th), and Laconia was led by Alicia Bernard (82nd) and Jessie Dawson (95th).
